DOUGLAS J. CURLEY, P.E.President
Doug Curley is a co-founder of SUMMIT, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and has extensive experience in the engineering and construction services industry ranging from Field and Laboratory Testing to Senior Level Project Management and Engineering. Doug is experienced in performing, managing, and providing technical consulting for Construction Materials Testing, Foundation Engineering, Construction Management, Geotechnical Explorations, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Asbestos and Lead Based Paint Surveys and Property Condition Surveys.
ROBERT MCDONNELLSenior Vice President
Robert McDonnell is a co-founder of SUMMIT and his experience and leadership have been focused on developing services, building lasting client relations, and driving profitable revenue growth. Bob is an integral part of the daily operations of the Charlotte branch, working closely with department heads and supervisors to support the day-to-day activities of employees. Bob is also instrumental in assisting with the strategic planning and execution of the company’s business plan for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
ANDREW K. COFFEY, E.I.Senior Project Manager
Drew Coffey is a co-founder of SUMMIT and has worked with countless clients in the commercial and higher-education sectors, among others, on projects including Construction Inspections, QA/QC, Structural Design, Project Management, and Municipal Engineering. Drew is experienced in performing, managing, and providing Technical Consulting for a wide range of Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection projects in addition to Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering.
MIMI HOURANIDirector of Materials Testing Laboratory Services
Mimi Hourani has nearly 20 years of experience in the Laboratory and Materials Testing field. As a NICET Level I, II, III, IV in Soils, ACI Level II, and NCDOT Laboratory Certified Materials Technician, Mimi is responsible for the direct supervision and performance of SUMMIT’s advanced 6,000 SF ASSHTO, AMRL, CCRL, and NCDOT Certified laboratory testing facility. Her project experience includes earth and concrete embankments, dams, landfills, office buildings, residential structures, industrial facilities, high-rise structures, roadways, parking lots and public infrastructure.
JASON COBLE, P.E. Raleigh Branch Manager
Jason Coble has 20 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry, much of which includes project management on large scale university, municipal, healthcare, and commercial projects. He has extensive experience with geotechnical, structural, materials testing and special inspections and understands how each of these aspects interfaces on a given project. Jason manages SUMMIT’s highly experienced and educated technicians, inspectors and engineering staff in the Raleigh, North Carolina office.
ROSS DEAVER, P.E.SC Regional Manager
Ross Deaver has spent his entire professional career in the engineering and construction services industry, and has been involved in Materials Testing, Geotechnical Engineering, Project Management and Client Development. Ross is experienced in performing, managing and providing Technical Consulting for Construction Materials Testing, Special Inspections Services, Foundation Engineering, Construction Management, Geotechnical Explorations and Transportation Engineering.
STEPHANIE KOSKA, MBAChief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Stephanie Koska is responsible for the company’s financial functions not limited to maintaining, developing, and overseeing financial reporting, process management, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting & strategic planning for the Mid-Atlantic Region. Throughout her 10 years at SUMMIT, she has been an integral part of the growth, development, and implementation of the company’s financial reporting system. Stephanie has her MBA from Winthrop University.
WHITNEY BOER, SPHRChief Administrative Officer
Whitney Boer is the Chief Administrative Officer for SUMMIT. With over 15 years at the company, she has been an integral part of the company’s growth throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. In Whitney’s role she oversees all human resources and talent acquisition functions, as well as assisting with regional strategic planning and process improvement. Whitney has a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University.
