SUMMIT Engineering hosted a Lunch and Learn in their lab on June 16, 2011 on Cost Effective Site Solutions using roller compacted concrete and stabilization/reclamation techniques. Guest speakers included Tim McConnell from Portland Cement Association, PCA and Lindsay Carroll from Site Prep-Inc. The event was well attended by 30+ people in the Charlotte region including people from Shaw, City of Rock Hill, York County Government, Blythe Development, United Construction, STV Ralph Whitehead LaFarge Cement, Pavement Reconstruction Consulting, REI Engineering, WK Dickson & Co, Dennis Corporation, UNCC and SUMMIT employees.
