SUMMIT hiring Geotechnical Engineer/Geotechnical Department Manager

SUMMIT Engineering has an immediate opening for a registered Professional Geotechnical Engineer-Geotechnical Department Manager. This individual will be responsible for oversight, planning, proposals and execution of Geotechnical Engineering projects for the Charlotte and Columbia offices. SUMMIT envisions the right candidate becoming the Geotechnical Department Manager within 3 to 12 months with the direct oversight of drilling platforms, drilling crew members, department profitability and efficiency and management of other professional and technical staff members within the department including PE/EI staff members. A strong history of management and execution of Geotechnical projects is required and the position will be responsible for taking a project from proposal phase to completed report within the timeframe expected by our clientele.
